14 DAY TRIAL // Tekken x Street Fighter has not received any details in such a long time that many fans of the fighting game genre believed the title to be canceled, but the team at publisher Namco Bandai says that it still has plans to launch it in 2014.
VG247 quotes an internal document from the company as explaining that the exact launch date still needs to be confirmed.
Tekken x Street Fighter is designed to use characters drawn from both the long-running franchises, but will use the core mechanics of the Namco-made series, although no actual details on the main feature set have been offered so far.
Street Fighter x Tekken was launched in 2012 and ca be played on the Xbox 360, the PC, the PlayStation 3 and the Vita.
The game has posted smaller sales than Capcom was expecting, which might explain the lack of an actual launch date for Tekken x Street Fighter.
