Publisher Namco Bandai has announced a new initiative called Ninostarter, which is designed to attract more interest for the North American launch of Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch.

Those who pre-order the game will contribute to a limit that will be shown on the official Club Namco website for North America and as more pre-orders come in the publisher will add more goodies to the Wizard’s Edition of the game.

The statement from Namco Bandai reads: “As the Wizard’s Edition pre-order numbers rise, additional Wizard’s Edition items will be unlocked when pre-established levels of pre-orders are reached. Pre-orders will be accepted on Club Namco until August 31st, at which point the program will end.”

At the moment, the Wizard’s Edition of the game includes a 300-page hardcover book, a plus doll that represents Drippy and downloadable content including Golden Mite and Golden Drongo.

The game will be launched in the United States on January 22.
