Fans of PAC-MAN from across the US have now the chance to prove their skills to the world, as Namco Networks has just announced its PAC-MAN Fever Mobile Tournament that will take place between August 29 and 31, during the 2008 Penny Arcade Expo (PAX).

 

Mobile gamers will be able to play the famous game if they visit Namco Networks’ PAX booth #141, found at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center from downtown Seattle, WA.

 

Participants at the PAC-MAN Fever Mobile Tournament will be given AT&T mobile phones to compete on and fight for the highest scores in PAC-MAN Fever. Each day, four top scorers will be selected and they will eventually have to compete in the final challenge. Moreover, Namco Networks booth visitors will be able to try lots of other games developed by the company, including PAC-MAN Arcade Golf or PAC-MAN and Galaga.

 

The player who wins the first prize will receive a brand new AT&T handset (of unspecified brand and features) plus a myriad of products from clubNAMCO, including a PAC-MAN 1980 Champion t-shirt, a PAC-MAN Plush Cushion, a PAC-MAN Plush Doll and a set of PAC-MAN figures. Runners-up will also be rewarded, with a PAC-MAN Plush Doll as well as a $25 gift certificate to buy anything they want from the clubNAMCO website.
