Naim, a British audio company, has released a new firmware for its all-in-one players. According to the release notes, this update includes code for the Multi-Room feature as well as other bug fixes.

This issue enables Multiroom, Party Mode and Seek2Time on Naim all-in-one players as well as separates network players and streaming preamplifiers.

The installation method is fairly simple. Inside the archive there is an executable that will start a setup process for the Streamer Updater. Once you've finished the installation, launch the application.

An important note is that you must set your computer so that it will not go in sleep mode during the installation process.

Once you open the Naim Streamer Updater and pass the welcome screen, select the serial port in which you've plugged in your player. You must turn the device on and press the Next button within 60 seconds.

After the unit has been discovered, select the required version from the drop down menu and click Update. The setup will then begin.

When all is done, the media player will restart and return to a working state.
