AOpen has just unleashed a series of products that are designed as a comprehensive range of computer casings, which balance both space and performance. The new Nagas series is currently composed of three models, namely the ATX-ready G5 and G6, as well as the mini-ATX G3. All three are aimed at what the company calls professional gamers and come with optional computer gaming peripherals, such as DDR3 memory cooling fans, keyboards and mice.

”Nagas series is a product brand specifically designed for professional gamers,” Tony Yang, AOpen’s senior marketing manager and spokesman, says. “All its functions and designs are aimed at satisfying the gamers who require enhanced gaming experience and high computing performance. AOpen is committed to devoting more resources and efforts to the development of Nagas series, completing the comprehensive range of Nagas products, and offering even greater freedom of choice and flexibility for the consumers.”

The G3 is the smallest of the lot and can only integrate a motherboard using the micro-ATX form factor. It is designed with a see-through mesh cover, one 5.25-inch drive bay, three 3.5-inch bays and built-in vibration dampers. In addition, the case has a front I/O panel that boasts USB and audio connectors, as well as eSATA connectivity. In addition, the chassis can be equipped with graphics cards up to 10.5-inch in length and up to two 80mm fans.

The G5 case has a mesh front panel and supports up to four 120mm fans. It comes with drilled liquid cooling holes and has a front I/O panel with eSATA and USB ports, as well as audio output. The casing only has three 5.25-inch bays.

The biggest and most feature rich of the series is the G6. This computer case is a mid-tower with a metal mesh front panel and a top-mounted I/O panel that has its own USB, eSATA and audio connectors. The chassis itself has no less than nine 5.25-inch bays, side hooks for hanging headsets and mice and a dark coating on both the inside and the outside. The product also has a removable, 3.5-inch drive rack (with a front fan measuring 120mm), as well as a front and a rear 120mm spinners. Two extra such fans can be installed at the top, with pre-drilled holes ensuring that liquid-cooling can also be easily implemented.

Full information on the products can be found in the official press release.
