14 DAY TRIAL // Nadya Suleman, aka Octomom after giving birth to octuplets, is now sorry she had 14 children through IVF. In a chilling new interview, Suleman says she hates her 8 babies and that they “disgust” her, while referring to her older 6 as “animals.”
Suleman has long been having financial issues because of her extended brood and the fact that she’s still out of a job. To make matters worse, none of the plans she had of capitalizing on her kids have come to fruition.
Desperate, with the house a complete mess and (again) facing the risk of ending up in the streets with her children, Suleman tells InTouch that she’s sorry she had so many babies and that she’s come to hate them (quotes via Hollywood Life).
The statement is bound to shock and not just because it comes from a mother who is speaking this way of her own flesh and blood: when she was attacked for having so many babies when she clearly had no means of providing for her, Suleman defended herself saying a large family was what she’d always wanted.
It seems that she’s had a major change of heart.
“I hate the babies, they disgust me,” she tells the mag about her octuplets. She feels the same for the older children as well.
“My older six are animals, getting more and more out of control, because I have no time to properly discipline them,” she says.
Suleman doesn’t have the time to care for her 14 children and, what’s worse, she no longer feels any inclination to do so. Financial woes have even prompted her to consider taking her own life, she reveals.
“My account is overdrawn by $300. I have no money to pay for the children’s school, food or the mortgage,” she says.
“The only way I can cope is to lock myself in the bathroom and cry. Sometimes I sit there for hours and even eat my lunch sitting on the toilet floor. Anything to get peace and quiet. Some days I have thought about killing myself. I cannot cope,” Suleman admits.
“Obviously I love them. But I absolutely wish I had not had them,” she concludes.
The InTouch interview also comes with photos of Suleman’s rundown house: in one of them, one of her children is seen munching on a piece of drywall that’s come loose, reports have it.
Given the incendiary statements from above, there’s a lot of talk online right now about whether it wouldn’t be best if competent authorities just took Suleman’s babies away: she clearly does not want them anymore.
