Nadya Suleman is losing her La Habra, California house because she failed to make payments in due time. To cut some of her expenses, she held a yard sale over the weekend, which drew quite a crowd.

Speaking with the media on the spot, OctoMom said that she would never do anything to disgrace herself to provide for her children, which is why she now resorted to selling stuff she didn’t use anymore to raise some money.

At the same time, the Daily Mail informs, though faced with no clear possibility of having a stable income, Suleman remains convinced she will get her and her extensive brood through this.

“The cash-strapped mother put everything up for sale, from an autographed nursing bra costing £12.60 ($20) to the ‘Octofridge’ that went for £54 ($85),” the Mail says.

Other items ranged from baby clothes to the infamous swimsuit Suleman wore for a photoshoot that she also did in a bid to make an extra buck.

“Also up for grabs were fourteen tiny devil costumes the octuplets were dressed up in last Halloween, which sold for £32 ($50), a signed sonogram of the babies and the red bikini their mother wore for a magazine photo shoot showing off her post-pregnancy body,” the British e-zine notes.

“Other items on the auction block included the sofa she sat on when she announced she was pregnant and a baby-sized ‘time-out’ chair given to her by Oprah Winfrey after she appeared on the daytime talk queen’s show,” says the Mail.

Suleman’s yard sale drew over 150 people, many of whom didn’t go back home empty-handed. The unexpected crowd also prompted police to shut down the street to ensure things went smoothly and without incident.

Other reports in the British media say that those interested in getting something from Octomom and that wasn’t necessarily an object could buy a snap with her.

While having your picture taken with Suleman cost only 10 bucks, those who asked for a shot of her and her octuplets had to fork over $100.
