Nadya Suleman Gets a Tattoo for All Her 14 Children

Nadya Suleman, the 33-year-old woman who has given birth to the only surviving octuplets in January this year, has just paid the ultimate tribute, as she likes to call it, to her children by having a large tattoo inked on her shoulder blade. The entire event was immortalized on tape, as she asked Radar Online to tag along for the exclusive on this.

As several glossy magazines and celebrity blogs are pointing out, from all the world knows, Suleman is still unemployed. She’s still receiving governmental assistance and lives on food stamps, the only things that have changed since she rose to stardom being that she now has an army of volunteers to help her and a new house, which she was able to buy after doing a series of television interviews. Given this, the only thing she needed at this point was getting more ink, these publications point with bitter sarcasm.

“Nadya Suleman has paid the ultimate tribute to her children – she immortalized them in ink! OctoMom gets her first tattoo in 16 years at Kustom Kulture in Hollywood and RadarOnline gives you the exclusive video of the whole trip – and the finished product!” Radar writes of tagging along with the world’s most famous mom. The tattoo represents an altered angel (made to look more like a girl, with a more round mouth and generally prettier), surrounded by 14 little stars, each for one child.

“As RadarOnline exclusively reported, Nadya already has seven tattoos, but apparently they are in places where only OctoDaddy has seen! Nadya wanted another tattoo to celebrate her new babies – and this time she gets it in a highly visible place, and it’s not small!” Radar further writes in the piece that accompanies the lengthy video with the trip to the tattoo parlor.

As one might have expected, Suleman’s latest tattoo only got more tongues wagging as to whether she’s really copying Angelina Jolie or not, as word had it in early February. As fans must know, Angelina too has a tattoo on her shoulder dedicated to her children, in which case, this could either be a very eerie coincidence (just like Suleman looking like her) or on purpose. So far, the public opinion has seemed to incline to believe it’s the latter.
