Although she initially said that filming a reality show before all her children were 18 would mean “exploiting” them, it seems that Nadya Suleman has changed her mind and is ready for the director to yell “action, rolling!” for her own show. OctoMom has already set up a deal with a network that will carry out her reality show, which will deal with her having to raise 14 children while also finding a partner to cope with the madness, a piece on AssociatedContent informs.

The story was first broken out by In Touch Weekly, the print version. The magazine managed to score an exclusive interview with OctoMom, complete with pictures and details about her plans for the future, and it thus learned that a reality show was in the works. The papers have already been signed, it has been said, and the only thing that has yet to be revealed being the name of the network paying for the series. Shooting will reportedly start once all octuplets are home – seven babies have been released to Suleman so far.

“According to Kim Serafin, senior editor at In Touch Weekly, who appeared on HLN’s ‘Issues,’ Nadya Suleman’s reality show will chronicle the lives of the OctoMom and her 14 children 24/7. But this reality show comes with a twist. They will also be following Nadya Suleman as she attempts to find a person to have a relationship with. As Serafin explained, it would be a cross between ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8’ and ‘The Bachelor.’” the aforementioned media outlet reports.

Furthermore, it is said that Suleman made only one special request from the producers of the show: and that was never to use the term “OctoMom,” which the media so naturally assigned to her, in relation to the show. The amount of money that Suleman would cash in from the show or other financial agreements have not yet been made public – and will never be, at least not officially, several celebrity publications are pointing out.

As expected, news of a reality show coming soon enough has not failed to generate mixed reactions on the Internet and in the media. Aside from the fact that Suleman said right after giving birth that she would never appear on such a show with her children, she also vouched she would remain celibate until her kids were 18. If the reality show is really also about her finding a partner, it seems she changed her mind on another aspect as well, it has been noted.
