Nadya Suleman, aka Octomom, offered NBC a taste of how her daily life is like when she brought her octuplets and one of her older children for an interview on Today. She also used the opportunity to deny ongoing rumors, as the video below will confirm.

Suleman has been getting a lot of attention lately for allegedly admitting in an interview with InTouch that she “hated” the octuplets and that she considered her other 6 children “animals.”

The interview never happened, Suleman says during the interview, quite upset that a publication would put words in her mouth like that.

She doesn’t expect an apology, though: she wants a complete retraction and she’s considering suing for slander. Oddly enough, when asked why she hasn’t filed the papers yet, she hesitates and then dodges the answer.

“I think they should retract it because it’s all slander. I love my children. I would do anything for my kids. I would die for my kids,” Suleman stresses at one point in the interview.

She also says she was never on welfare and goes a bit into the details of how she manages to make ends meet. A month or so ago, she got proper management and she’s been able to generate revenue ever since.

Suleman claims she makes money from boxing tournaments and as a fitness trainer, as well as from some appearances and interviews – though just seconds before she was saying she wasn’t getting paid for TV appearances.

“I’ve never in my life been on (public assistance), and I never would,” Octomom stresses. A year or so ago, she admitted that, before the birth of the octuplets, she was living on food stamps.

“I would feel like a failure as a mother and as a human being,” she adds.

Contrary to what the video may show, her children are very well-behaved, Suleman insists. They don’t usually roll on the carpet or run amok crashing into the set, and they’re not usually so loud, she says, explaining lack of sleep that’s making them so disorderly.
