Having more or less reached a limit of how they can customize their PC cases, and since there isn't much else they can do, makers of gaming-related PC hardware are teaming up.

NZXT, SteelSeries and XSplit have joined forces to help each other sell products faster.

The NZXT Armory Store is providing the Phantom 630 gaming cases, SteelSeries has added a 30% off coupon for any purchase from its website, and XSplit is including a 3-Month Premium XSplit License (premier broadcasting solutions for video game streaming). This is the so-called eSports package.

All in all, it is a marketing trick meant to get customers to buy something from all three companies.

The coupon, for instance, is useless if buyers of the Phantom 630 don't get some SteelSeries peripherals, and there isn't much chance of people actually needing a game streaming service.

Then again, the offer is restricted to US customers purchasing through the NZXT Armory Store, so the trio isn’t trying to reach out to too many people, so it's not like they are biting off more than they can chew. The US has many citizens, so the new offer may actually score some adopters.
