It will control up to five fans at once, or even set up link groups

Fan speeds can be pesky things if they go too high, because they can make a lot of noise. Headphones can usually cancel out the sound pollution, but controlling the fan speed can work wonders.

That's why products like the Sentry 3, which was just released by NZXT, have a solid market, if not a particularly big one.

The Sentry 3 is a fan controller somewhat unlike others of its kind. For one thing, it has a touchscreen instead of knobs and dials. And while this isn't totally unheard of, the touchscreen also happens to be the largest ever seen on single bay fan controllers. Ever.

In fact, it is 33% larger, and has color display to boot. Clearly, NZXT wanted to make a statement, so it went with a bit of overkill.

There are five fan channels, which can be controlled individually or in groups, via the channel-linking feature. A PowerSlide Bard represents the control.

Each channel has 15W or power, but NZXT didn't forget about undervoltage, overvoltage and short-circuit protection.

Pre-orders should already have started through the NZXT Armory web store, for the price of $35 / €26. All in all, a swipe of your finger should be able to push even the best fans to their limits, and maybe beyond if you're feeling adventurous.
