It is supposed to be the most adaptable and versatile tower case

Being a supplier of all sorts of PC cases, it was just a matter of time before NZXT went ahead and launched a new model, and it so happens that gamers are the ones getting a treat this time.

NZXT has made a new product launch and, once again, it made one of those bold statements that most everyone on the IT market tends to make as well.

In this case, NZXT claims to have developed the “most versatile and highly adaptable full tower chassis to date.”

The case it speaks so highly of is called Switch 810 and has a price of $169.99 (133.21 Euro).

Up to seven HDDs (hard disk drives) can be placed inside it, though the two drive cages are removable.

Also, there are four 5.25-inch drive bays, for optical disk drives or accessories, like fan controllers.

In fact, those who end up buying this case may just buy something along the lines of the Scythe Kaze Master Pro Ace fan controller as well.

After all, Switch 810 is described as a product whose cooling effectiveness can easily be modified and/or enhanced.

Though liquid cooling will always works best, fans and heatsinks are more widespread, so a controller of that sort could come in handy.

On that note, it should be pointed out that NZXT installed a pair of pivoting 120/140mm fans that direct air flow to the CPU and VGA.

Finally, tool-free drive mounting is implemented as well (for both the 3.5-inch and the 5.25-inch bays),

“Switch 810 is truly the pinnacle of high performance computing” said Johnny Hou, founder of NZXT. “It offers enthusiasts an array of advanced features intuitively implemented into one of the most unique designs we've ever created.”

NZXT tossed in 9 expansion slots and support for EATX motherboards with Quad SLI or Triple Crossfire, making this one of the largest gaming cases out there.

PC enthusiasts will find an acrylic side window and both black and white color options.
