NZXT has become quite well-known for its impressive, high-end computer cases, and now, the company's back with yet another very interesting offering, namely the H2 midtower chassis.

According to the manufacturer, the H2 has been designed specifically for housing high-end gaming rigs, and its main selling point is the fact that it manages to lower down the overall level of noise generated by these otherwise rather loud machines.

In order to achieve this ambitious goal, the H2 has been fitted with a premium noise dampening foam that prevents internal noise from escaping the chassis, while a magnetic fan cover on the top 140mm will further silence this case.

However, this cover can be easily removed should the users opt to maximize the case's cooling power, and since we're on this topic, it's also interesting to mention that the H2 packs a 3-phase fan controller that allows enthusiasts to adjust speeds at 40%, 70%, and 100%.

Furthermore, the case also comes equipped with 8 front-facing HDDs, as well as a hot-swap capable SATA HDD dock with easy access from the top of the case, and offers enough space for graphics cards measuring up to 310 mm.

Last, but certainly not least, it's also interesting to mention that this thing is, in fact, quite bulky, measuring 215 x 466 x 520 mm and having an overall weight of around 8.9 kg.

“Noise is a distracting byproduct of a powerful gaming rig that can confuse and endanger the avid gamer in the heat of battle” said Johnny Hou, founder and chief designer at NZXT, adding that “H2 delivers peace of mind through absolute silence effectively enhancing concentration and accuracy to set the stage for complete gaming domination.”

Despite packing some pretty interesting features, the new NZXT H2 silent mid-tower chassis is actually pretty affordable, given the fact that it will soon be available in both black and white versions, selling for a MSRP of $99.99.
