NZXT already has an extensive range of PC cases, but it did not shy away at all from revealing a new one, carrying the tempest moniker and intended specifically for top-tier customers.

The computer case market is one that thrived remarkably quickly once computer hardware began to split up in categories.

As such, one can find a myriad of enclosures, from small to big and with different sets of features, many of which aren't really required for the basic operation of computers.

Of course, if there was not a customer base for high-end chassis, they would not exist, but they most assuredly do.

NZXT just created two such models, both included in the Crafter series and bearing the name of Tempest.

Tempest 410 and Tempest 410 Elite is what they go by, making it fairly clear that the latter is really just the same product, only with a few perks, like an acrylic side panel.

"The original Tempest was the chassis that really put NZXT on the map for specializing in aggressive airflow" said Johnny Hou, Founder and Chief Designer at NZXT.

"The 410 and 410 Elite take the series to an entirely new level with superior features like innovative touch powered fans. This is truly an overclocker's dream chassis."

Both products are mid-towers of 7.8 kilograms and with a size of 215 x 481 x 496 mm, plus tool-free mounting.

Three 5.25-inch ODD bays exist, along with eight internal HDD/SSD bays (can store 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives).

Furthermore, the front I/O panel has three USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 connector and the obligatory audio outputs.

The Tempest 410 sells for $79.99, while the Elite goes for $89.99. Both come with a to-placed storage compartment and two 120 mm front fans, as well as a 120mm fan at the back (1,200 RPM).
