Police have found what might be the cutest things to ever stop a new York City subway, two kittens.

NY Daily News documented that the cats were found in Brooklyn, by the B and Q lines near Church Ave. at 11 a.m.

The owner had called in and shut down train service in the area for two hours over losing the cats.

Officers were sent out looking and told to “proceed through the area with caution.” Eventually, kittens Arthur and August were recovered by two police officers and an MTA worker.

Some passengers didn't really mind that their train was stopping, believing that it was for a good cause.

“The announcer said it had to stop to rescue some cats. [...] I didn’t mind. I wanted to get home, but I also wanted the kittens to be safe,” 52-year-old Sandra Polel describes.
