14 DAY TRIAL // A few moments ago, some of NVIDIA’s web pages that announce a new Quadro graphics driver just went online. The leak describes the 332.50 WHQL Quadro release, which would be the first ODE driver to support Microsoft’s Windows 8.1 operating system.
However, neither the release notes nor the driver’s download links are working, but keep your eyes peeled because, when they are online, you will definitely find them on our website.
Now, as NVIDIA highlights, the new update includes support for CUDA 5.5 and adds support for CUDA 6.0 and OpenGL 4.4, improves Mosaic setup for HDMI display devices, and adds default topology and display numbering in the Mosaic setup process.
In addition to that, the NvWMI is now updated to version 2.15 and supports creation and validation of multiple default display grids with a single call, as well as of multiple default + custom grids.
Moreover, the EDID Management and the Display get new controls in order to improve productivity and be able to import or export customs resolutions, respectively, and the workstation applications are now improved through some compatibility fixes.
As for the compatible platforms, version 332.50 WHQL will be targeted at both desktop and notebook system configurations that are running under one of Microsoft’s Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1 OSes, both bit architectures (Vista isn’t supported by notebooks).
