Word just reached the Internet that there will soon be a new video card up for sale, bearing NVIDIA's brand, one that will use the GTX 650 or GTS 650 name.

Since this is an unofficial leak, readers are advised to take the information with a grain of salt, as all rumors should be.

The folks at Videocardz are the ones who posted the info, admitting to not knowing whether the next addition to the 600 series will bear the GTS brand.

They still felt that GTS is more likely than GTX and GT though, so GTS 650 Ti is the moniker we will use as well, for now.

With a price estimated at $150 / 122 Euro, it will boast five streaming multiprocessors, placing the CUDA core count at 960. Meanwhile, the GDDR5 capacity won't be any higher than 1.5 GB (the interface is rated at 192 bits).

In related news, NVIDIA might bring out a new GT 640 adapter as well, one equipped with GDDR5 VRAM (the current card has GDDR3).
