With Microsoft’s Windows Store growing up at such a fast pace, finding new games and apps could be a bit tricky, especially if you wish to discover the best software in the Store.

That’s why the brand new NVIDIA TegraZone could come in very handy. This new application shows you the best games for any Tegra-powered tablet running Microsoft’s new Windows RT platform.

“With NVIDIA Tegra-powered Windows RT tablets and notebooks now available, Windows RT gamers can now look to our TegraZone app as the one-stop shop for all their mobile gaming needs. TegraZone for Windows RT features the new Windows 8 interface and is now available to download for free on all Tegra-powered Windows RT tablets and notebooks via the Windows Store,” NVIDIA said.

The application adopts Microsoft’s UI interface and is fully optimized for the touch, but it only offers support for ARM devices. The recommended tablets are Asus Vivo Tab RT TF600T, Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 and Microsoft Surface RT.

NVIDIA TegraZone doesn’t come with its own games, but instead it shows the ones listed in the Store that are at least worth a spin.

“These Tegra-optimized titles offer special features not found in the standard versions, including HD characters and environments; realistic physics effects such as water, smoke and cloth; as well as dynamic lighting and particle effects,” the company added.

The app is already enjoying a terrific success on Android platforms, with NVIDIA claiming that it has registered more than 6 million downloads.

At this point, it displays only a few Windows RT games, including Judge Dredd vs Zombies, Pinball FX 2, Reckless Racing Ultimate, Riptide GP, Soulcraft (pictured above), Space Ark, Sprinkle and Vendetta Online.

A bunch of news are also available, but the app lacks configuration options and a notification system to alert whenever a new game is being added to the list.
