It looks like Nvidia is very serious when it comes to tablets, as the company plans to launch its own slate over the next couple of weeks.

We reported last week on the first high-res photos showing the unannounced Nvidia Tegra Tab slate and now the tablet has been spotted at the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) as P1640.

According to Engadget, the tablet will be equipped with an Nvidia Tegra 4 chipset and a small 7-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display that supports 800 x 1280 pixels resolution.

In addition, the Tegra Tab will ship with Android Jelly Bean platform onboard, though we’re not sure yet what version will be included on the tablet.

Last but not least, documents filed at the FCC have revealed the tablet will have a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, an HD front camera and a stylus. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
