So much for the thing not having what it takes to run today's 3D games

Gigabyte's newest BRIX PC powered by the H97N-WiFi mini-ITX motherboard may not have graphics of any real capability, but the same cannot be said about the BRIX model at NVIDIA's Gamer's Day.

The jolly green GPU giant took offense to the lack of good video support on the mini personal computer, so it did something about it.

It's too bad it didn't really say what, exactly, that “something” was. All we know for sure is that this green-skinned BRIX has an NVIDIA GPU inside.

Probably the GeForce GTX 760, though we suppose it's not out of the question for a laptop GPU to have been used instead.

The BRIX is, after all, pretty small, and even a low-profile video card will be a really tight fit.

Anyway, the CPU is probably a Core i5 of some sort, providing upper-mainstream computing capabilities. All in all, the GeForce GTX-enabled Gigabyte BRIX should handle even the latest games just fine.

Not at huge resolutions or multiple displays, but one monitor at 1080p quality should be doable.

Other than that, two DDR3 SO-DIMM slots have been confirmed (laptop-type form factor), 2.5-inch and mSATA SSD support, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB 3.0 (four ports) and HDMI/Mini-DisplayPort video outputs. No price yet, alas.
