You got so excited about NVIDIA’s latest Shield tablet that you can no longer wait to hold it in your gamer hands? The producing company knows there are many like you in this state, so it’s not making you wait.

Starting today, NVIDIA is shipping out the first units of the tablet to those who have already pre-ordered the device, complete with the wireless controller (if you have opted for one).

This is the first consumer-friendly tablet optimized for gaming and is supposed to be able to deliver desktop-like graphics performance on your slate.

The Shield slate arrives with 8-inch full HD screen, a Tegra K1 processor with 192-core GPU, and 16GB of internal storage (or 32GB on the Wi-Fi/LTE version).

On top of that, the device is offered with a total of 11 gaming titles, which have been especially optimized to work with the Tegra K1 platform inside the tablet. Some of the names to be found onboard include Trine 2: Complete Story, War Thunder, or Talos Principle.

If you haven’t ordered the tablet yet, you ca do so from NVIDIA’s own website, Best Buy, or Amazon. Throw in an extra $60 / €44 and you’ll be awarded the Shield wireless controller too.

Other accessories include the Shield tablet cover that doubles as a keyboard stand, additional Direct Stylus 2, and Shiled Ac Adapter.
