NVIDIA seems to be doing well, even if Tegra 4 didn't score so well on the mobile front, unlike Tegra 3. The company has posted its financial results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2014.

FY14 Q3 happens to be the same as the third quarter of calendar year 2013 (July-September).

According to the company, the total revenue was of $1.2 billion / €890 million. A decent level if nothing else. 7.9% greater than in Q2, but 12.5% lower than in Q3 2012.

On that note, profit was of $118.7 million / €88.47 million, better than the $96 million / €71.55 million of Q2, but 43.2% less than in the third quarter of 2012. But last year was when NVIDIA still rode Tegra 3's coattails, so that's understandable.

The remaining quarter of 2013/ FY2014 may or may not prove even better. With Tegra 4 and GeForce GTX 780 Ti now out, and the G-Sync monitor technology, NVIDIA isn't lacking in resources at least.
