NVIDIA has just rolled out its 344.11 GeForce graphics driver version, which adds support for the new GeForce GTX 970 and GTX 980 GPUs and can be applied on both desktop and notebook configurations.

Specifically speaking, this new release can be installed on desktops running one of Microsoft’s Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1 OSes, as well as the Server 2003 64-bit platform, and on notebooks powered by Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems.

This update is the Game Ready driver that will provide maximum performance and the best gaming experience while playing the newest blockbuster games such as Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, The Evil Within, F1 2014, and Alien: Isolation.

As for the changes, version 344.11 fixes the GPU Tweak utility that wouldn’t show GPU Boost information and resolves issues with the right-eye view and stereoscopic 3D encountered in GRID Autosport.

Moreover, no more flickering is encountered when playing Sniper Elite 2 on a GeForce GTX 780 card, no terrain triangles are missing when using a GTX 780 Ti GPU to play Prepar 3, and the GPU Boost can now increase clock speed to 895 MHz on a GeForce GT 740M unit.

If this latest release is applied, the stuttering and hitching won’t be encountered on a GeForce GTX 780 SLI configuration, and no error will be experienced in the OpenGL application rendered by a GeForce GTX 570 card.

Last but not least, NVIDIA’s update includes support for G-SYNC technology and G-SYNC Surround configurations, updates several application and 3D Vision profiles, and adds 3D Compatibility Mode for numerous games.

That being said, download NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver 344.11 for the appropriate OS and bit architecture, apply the package, and enjoy the changes and improvements that this new release brings about.
