After outing NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver 344.11, the producer has also unveiled the same version of its Quadro graphics package, which is from NVIDIA’s latest driver release branch.

This update is a Quadro New Feature driver (or QNF) and is targeted at workstation environments powered by one of Microsoft’s Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems, either 32- or 64-bit architectures.

However, bear in mind that, even though both desktop and notebook configurations are compatible, the Windows Vista OS isn’t supported by the present release on portable devices.

As for the changes, version 344.11 fixes the issue with imageStore calls that wouldn’t work properly with multisample textures on Quadro K2000M cards, and forces stereo toggling even in the event where no stereoscopic 3D app is running.

Moreover, this update adds a new option to pre-allocate GPU memory in order to be used along with Quadro-specific features, such as stereoscopic 3D or swap groups.

When it comes to installing NVIDIA’s latest Quadro release, simply make sure that your device configuration is supported by this update, save the appropriate package for your bit version, run it, and follow the displayed instructions for a complete upgrade.

In addition to that, if the installation doesn’t request it, it would be best to perform a manual reboot in order to make sure all changes take effect properly.

With this in mind, download NVIDIA Quadro Graphics Driver 344.11, take into account all aforementioned aspects, and upgrade your graphics chipset to the latest version.
