Today, NVIDIA has unveiled its latest graphics driver developed for all if its GPUs, namely version 331.40. Still, the release is only a beta package and is provided “AS IS,” therefore NVIDIA doesn’t take credit for any related damages.

To be clearer, version 331.40 beta is compatible with NVIDIA’s GeForce and Quadro graphics cards, as well as the NVS, Tesla, and GRID GPUs.

The GeForce release is compatible with both bit-variants of all of Microsoft’s Windows operating systems (including Windows 8.1) for both desktop and notebook configurations, although the XP and Vista platforms aren’t supported by the mobile series.

Just like the GeForce packages, the Quadro, NVS, Tesla, and GRID drivers are compatible with the same OSes and bit-variants, but only for the desktop configurations. When it comes to the notebook components, only Quadro packages are available for Windows 7 and 8 platforms.

As for changes, the new version raises performance over previous driver variants, including workstation compatibilities from the Quadro, and several PC game improvements from the GeForce release.

In addition to that, the GeForce graphics driver 331.40 beta fixes issues such as the Solidworks plugin, the GeForce 6 and 7 Series GPU clock speed, the TXAA option, and several surround problems.

Moreover, it fixes the stereoscopic 3D issue for Rainbow Six: Raven Shield, the “SLI connector is missing” message is now displayed in the right conditions, and the 3D Surround problem with GeForce 400 and 500 card series is resolved.

That being said, from the link below, and from the list, choose the one that best describes your system configuration and characteristics.
