After unveiling the NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver 344.16 Beta, the producer has also made available a new video driver targeted at the same GeForce GTX 970 and 980 GPUs, namely the 344.16 WHQL version.

Besides the changes that the previous version included, this new update also fixes the code 43 error that occurred with the GTX 970 card in Device Properties when used on a ASRock X79 motherboard.

In addition to that, version 344.16 resolves the code 49 issue encountered with both GTX 970 and 980 GPUs used on ASUS Rampage Black boards, also in Device Properties.

Moreover, several applications and 3D vision profiles have been added for games such as Alien: Isolation, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, TitanFall, GRID Autosport, and many others.

When it comes to 3D compatibility mode, the Assassin’s Creed: Freedom City, Halo: Spartan Assault, Murdered Soul Suspect, and Sniper Elite 3 titles receive support for this feature. What's more, they are also rated as “Excellent.”

As for the compatible systems, just like the beta release, this update is targeted only at computers powered by one of the two aforementioned second-gen Maxwell GPUs, and running one of Microsoft’s Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1 platforms (either bit architecture).

Therefore, download NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver 344.16 WHQL, apply it, and perform a system reboot to ensure all changes take effect properly. Also, constantly check our website in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
