The photo is so bad that it might have been made like this on purpose

After hearing and reading so much about the NVIDIA Kepler GPU and whatever video cards will be based on it, we have finally found a picture.

Granted, it wasn't us that initially came upon this photo of what may or may not be the first card based on the GK104 graphics processing unit (GPU).

It was a user on the RedQuasar BBS forum that first posted this picture, which is so incredibly blurry that one has to wonder what the one shooting it was paying attention to when he snapped it.

We are actually tempted to believe whoever made this picture got it to be so blurry completely on purpose.

It wouldn't be the first time someone trolls the world with this type of teaser.

The picture, such as it is, still fits with some design elements we've written about, like the stacked PCI Express power connectors (two 6-pin inputs on top of one another).

On that note, the overall layout seems to fit previous speculations, and the same goes for the rear panel bracket.

Moving on, there is a nice, big etching of the word GEFORCE on the top of the video card, which would fit with rumors about NVIDIA changing the look of its GeForce logo.

We still can't label this photo genuine though, since the name written on the cooler shroud doesn't really fit with most other reports.

The picture has the product bearing the name of GeForce GTX 670 Ti, which isn't completely off the wall knowing that it isn't the first time this name cropped up.

Nevertheless, from what we have seen so far, NVIDIA is more likely to dub the first Kepler board GeForce GT 680.

We will know what is what (probably) on March 12 (2012), when the first official info is released. The product release is scheduled for March 23.
