The dual-GPU graphics adapter still hasn't reached any stores

The new dual-chip graphics card from Advanced Micro Devices, has been up for sale for a while now, but NVIDIA is still not letting anyone ship its own board, making this the second time the board is delayed.

Initially, the GeForce GTX Titan Z was supposed to go up for order on April 29, but that didn't happen.

Not a day after the intended release, ASUS confirmed the delay of the GTX Titan Z by launching it and immediately taking it down.

The past week, it came to light that NVIDIA was trying to optimize the performance of the board.

No doubt, the price difference between the Titan Z and R9 295 X2 struck a cord (the former is twice as expensive as the latter), so the green company has to offer some pretty strong incentive for users to gravitate towards its invention.

Now, some retailers have the product listed but still aren't selling it. We can only assume that the card has been again delayed, because shipments were supposed to start yesterday (May 8, 2014).

All the while, that price of $3,000 / €3,000 remains unchanged, because demanding twice as much as the competition can't possibly backfire. Sure, the GTX Titan Z has 12 GB VRAM vs. AMD's 8 GB, but still.
