It has only been two weeks since the introduction of NVIDIA's high-end GeForce GTX 780, a single-GPU graphics adapter second only to the GTX Titan.

One would think it would take NVIDIA a bit longer for prices to start dropping, but it looks like things are moving a bit faster in this case.

Which is to say, the tag of the card has fallen from €641 / $641 – 847 to €557 / $557 – 736. ComputerBase says as much anyway.

Reference GTX 780 are probably being cleared, in order to make room for custom models that will pay for more.

European customers might be the only ones enjoying the price cut though. Retailers from North America still rate the device at $649.

Even the occasional lucky break will only net a fall to $637, according to VideoCardz.
