The first review surfaces and does not show very promising numbers

Before we can really be sure how good, or weak, NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 650 Ti graphics card is, we will have to see several reviews of it. That doesn't mean we can't get an idea of its value from just one though, especially when it emerges prematurely.

Korean website PlayWares has published its experience with the card, and there are many screenshots and slides in it. The testers really tried out a whole bunch of games before they drew a conclusion.

We'll avoid dragging things out, since everyone can just click on the gallery below, or here, and check details themselves: the card is surprisingly slow, 28% slower than AMD Radeon HD 7850, despite the power draw difference being of just 4W.

The only silver lining is that, when overclocked to 1 GHz, 650 Ti is better than GTX 560. Even then, though, it is quite a bit behind the 7850.

Things would not have been so bad if the price of NVIDIA's board had been lower, but $160/160 Euro is on the same level as HD 7850 after the recent cut.
