As we've mentioned in our previous article regarding NVIDIA's GTX 580 GPU, you'll be hearing a lot about the new graphics card from NVIDIA over the next couple of days, and we continue our coverage of this topic by providing you with some very interesting information on two very hot topics, namely that of the official tech specs and, more importantly the pricing.

The respective pieces of information come from UK online retailer YoYo, who's decided to go a littler early with listing the next-gen graphics card from NVIDIA, providing us with some very valuable information, both in terms of tech specs and of pricing.

So, it would seem that the NVIDIA GTX 580 will pack 512 Full CUDA Cores, accompanied by 1.5GB 384-bit GDDR5 memory, while the card's interface will enable 4 Gbps data transfers.

Yes, that's really benchmark shattering up until now, and since we've reached this topic, it's also interesting to point out that NVIDIA's internal testing proved the new card to be over 30% faster than GTX480 when tested in 3DMark Vantage.

Other important specs worth mentioning include the 772MHz Core Speed, as well as the fact that it will require a pretty solid PSU (244W of power need to be dedicated just to the GTX 580).

Plus, the GPU is apparently 27 cm long, requires 2 slots (something we already expected) and is 3-way SLI capable.

Also, there are plenty of connectivity options to go around, since we're talking about dual DVI and mini-HDMI ports.

Finally, the official pricing of the NVIDIA GTX 580 seems to be set at around 400 pounds sterling (VAT included), which translates into roughly 650 US dollars or 461 Euro, a fairly high amount to pay, all things considered, even if we are talking about the world's fastest GPU to date.

OK, so now we do know a whole lot more about what we should expect from the GTX 580, when it gets launched, but even so, we're eagerly waiting to see NVIDIA's official announcement on the matter, not to mention the flood of different versions manufactured by the company's various partners (and you can trust us, the gates of GPU heaven will really open up this time).
