While we're still waiting for the official announcement from NVIDIA regarding the official launch of their latest Fermi monster, the GTX 570 (at least at the time this article was published), we're starting to see the card already going on sale in various parts of the world, the latest model we've come across pertaining to NVIDIA partner PNY. So, PNY's VCGGTX570XPB model (the rather long part number for the GTX 570) has just been listed at US online retailer Newegg, and, from what we've been able to see, features a pretty standard configuration, similar to what we expect the reference GTX 570 card from NVIDIA to provide.

So, the graphics card sports a 480 stream processor cores, the core clock being rated at 732 Mhz, while the shader clock has been set at roughly 1464MHz.

Furthermore, PNY's GTX 570 sports 1280MB of GDDR5 memory, sporting a 3800MHz effective memory clock and a 320-bit memory interface, and employs a cooler with a fan unit attached.

The GPU can out a maximum of 2560 x 1600 pixels video resolution, it is SLI and HDCP ready, and comes equipped with 1 x mini HDMI and 2 x DVI ports.

Naturally, the card also packs some of NVIDIA's best-known technologies, such as PhysX, 3D Vision Surround and PureVideo HD, while also providing CUDA C/C++, DirectCompute 5.0 and OpenCL support.

Last, but certainly not least, we'll have to mention that the GTX 570 will certainly take some space within a desktop computer case, given the fact that it measures 10.5 x 4.25 x 1.5 inches.

Similar to the GeForce GTX 570 cards coming from other manufacturers, PNY's VCGGTX570XPB sells for around 350 US dollars, the deal being further sweetened in this case by the fact that PNY's also throwing a free movie download in the bundle.
