Back when Apple first introduced its new generation of computer systems, NVIDIA was proud to announce that it would be powering the graphics inside most of Apple's Mac systems. That was certainly a big day for NVIDIA, which basically won this right by launching a high-end graphics chipset that had a high performance potential inside a small package. On that note, it looks like Apple's collaboration with NVIDIA might extend to new segments, according to the latest speculations on the Internet.

On a recent visit to Dubai, the company's CEO, Mr. Jen-Hsun Huang, gave a speech at the American University of Dubai (AUD), prior to which he sat at a round-table with the media representatives. The CEO talked about the company's problems with Intel, but also about a couple of subjects regarding the company's products. However, one of the more interesting aspects of the meeting was that Mr. Huang showcased a mysterious tablet, of which he gave no specific details regarding specifications, release date, or manufacturing partner.

As revealed by a photo on ShuffleMagazine, the tablet looks like one of the much-rumored designs of the highly-anticipated Apple Tablet. Unfortunately, at this time, we can only speculate on the details of said tablet, as nothing has been officially revealed. Still, considering that NVIDIA's Tegra platform has been claimed capable of running a tablet PC and that NVIDIA's collaboration with Apple has grown significantly over the past few months, the showcased tablet might just be one of the pre-production, if not the final, design of Apple's much-anticipated tablet.

On a side note, Jen-Hsun Huang also wanted to state his liking for Apple's products, saying that “I'm all Apple,” while pointing out the fact that at home he and his family were using Mac systems, as he knew that he got the “best stuff inside” in terms of technical specifications.
