People have been experiencing some bugs with Battlefield 3, Windows Media Center and Internet browsers on NVIDIA graphics cards, so the company is asking for some very direct assistance.

An extensive support thread on the NVIDIA forums has been dealing with all the issues of the new game Battlefield 3.

The same thread is where Video Playback issues in Windows Media Center/Movie Maker/Media Player were identified.

Also, it seems that the Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer 9 have been getting some errors of their own.

The company has, so far, said that many of the bugs have been identified and the fixes will be included in the upcoming driver package.

Said driver will appear at some point this month, but it won't make all problems go away.

The TDR issues reported for the web browsers are, apparently, the ones giving NVIDIA the most intense and persistent headaches.

Right now, as mentioned in this post, the Santa Clara, California-based company is trying to recreate and understand the problem by testing some of the retail graphics cards mentioned in the thread.

However, it also said that it would be very helpful if any of those who experienced the bug could actually send over their own adapters.

“We have ordered some of the retail graphics cards that have been mentioned in these threads to resolve this issue. However it would be of great help to us if anyone who is facing this problem can send us their graphics card to diagnose internally at our Santa Clara office since the cards we have been tested so far do not seem to show the TDR issues end users are reporting in this forum,” the post said.

This isn't exactly an official analysis program and those interested will have to be from the US, to avoid shipment complications. Still, maybe everything will be sorted out at last.
