Two new Android-based smartphones from Sony are on their way to Japanese wireless carrier NTT DoCoMo, namely the Xperia GX and Xperia SX.

Both of them were announced in early summer, and they have been just confirmed for launch next week. However, no info on the price tags they might feature has been provided.

The wireless carrier will have Xperia GX on its network on August 9 and plans the release of Xperia SX the next day, on August 10, XperiaBlog reports.

Moreover, the wireless services provider has confirmed that both of these phones would be available for pre-order one week before their official landing.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Sony Xperia GX arrives with a 4.6-inch screen, while the Xperia SX will be released with a 3.7-inch display.
