The mobile phone for which you may never need a charger

NTT DoCoMo developed a Nintendo Gameboy Advanced SP like mobile phone, which is - of course - smaller, but pretty much the same as design.

NTT DoCoMo had already presented a solar charger concept, using spherical silicone material, thus reducing the material cost that would allow you to charge your mobile phone more efficiently than before.

Now the carrier is presenting a cell phone that features solar panels on its exterior side, and thus it does not need anything more than the sun in order to charge, which means that you might just be able to leave your mobile phone's charger at home when you travel or still manage to make that important phone call even though your mobile phone is on low battery and you're far away from any power source.

The down side of it is that most people carry their phones in their pocket and not in direct sunlight, but when in need for using your mobile phone, taking it out of your pocket for a quick charge should work just fine.

The device isn't anything like the mobile phones recently released, looking somewhat bulky and old fashioned as design; however, considering the fact that it will allow you to completely forget about your charger and replace it with solar power - thus recharging your mobile phone anytime and anywhere - it is something that could make you forget all about the phone's design.

This solar powered mobile phone is only a prototype for now, but it's another step forward for NTT DoCoMo in their attempt to provide an alternative to the standard mobile phone recharging.
