The National Rifle Association (NRA) is criticizing President Obama for his anti-gun stance in a new ad that reveals his so-called double standards when it comes to having armed guards in schools. You can see it in full below.

The ad calls Obama an “elitist hypocrite” and asks whether his kids are more important that the kids of any other American, because he has armed guards protecting his two girls, Malia and Sasha, but will not allow armed guards in public schools.

The White House was quick to respond to the ad, saying that kids should not be used as pawns in what is ultimately a political issue.

“Most Americans agree that a president’s children should not be used as pawns in a political fight. But to go so far as to make the safety of the president’s children the subject of an attack ad is repugnant and cowardly,” Jay Carney, the White House press secretary, says as cited by the New York Times.

The NRA is yet to respond.
