14 DAY TRIAL // The NPD Group has just revealed its hardware sales data for the U.S. in December, crowning the Xbox One as the best-selling home console of that time period, moving around 908,000 units, while the 3DS actually managed to be the most popular hardware.
The month of December saw a full-fledged next-gen console war, as both the PS4 and the Xbox One were available on the market, although both suffered shortages.
While the PS4 may lead in terms of overall sales, it seems that in December in the U.S. the Xbox One was the more successful platform, with the NPD Group confirming that over 908,000 units have been sold in that period.
The 3DS was more successful in terms of sales, but Microsoft also bragged about selling moving 643,000 Xbox 360 units on Twitter.
