The development team at EA Sports is launching another trailer for its upcoming NHL 14, designed to show off how the new game handles the collisions between players that are a staple of the real-world sport.

The game feature is handled by a Collision Physics engine that’s adapted from the same technology seen in FIFA 13, with more emphasis on the speed and the aggressiveness that are important in hockey.

Gamers will be able to better control their players and will also get to see how well they can hold their own when their competitive nature leads to fights on the ice, powered by an engine borrowed from Fight Night.

The game also has improvements to the Career Mode and multiplayer side.

NHL 14 will be launched on current-generation consoles from Sony and Microsoft on September 10.
