Electronic Arts has confirmed that it's going to release a patch for the PC version of Need for Speed: Most Wanted that should fix the stuttering and frame-rate issues reported by those who play the racing game on that platform.

NFS: Most Wanted came out last month and delivered a pretty intense racing experience that allowed players to unlock any car they could find in the open world of Fairhaven city.

Sadly, while the game delivered a pretty great experience, some PC owners complained of stuttering and issues with their frame-rate.

Now, Electronic Arts has posted a statement on its Help page, saying that a patch is going to be released for NFS: Most Wanted on the PC.

"We are aware that some players are experiencing stuttering and frame-rate issues while playing Need for Speed Most Wanted on PC. Our team has been working diligently on resolving these problems and we have made improvements that will hopefully resolve most of these problems. These improvements will be available in an upcoming patch."

Expect to hear about the update's release soon enough.
