
As November 17, the
PS3 launch day, is getting closer and closer, Sony representatives decided to reveal the official PlayStation 3 launch titles. The list includes three first party titles along with some third party games.
The official list goes like this: NBA 07, Genji: Days of the Blade, Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII,

Sports Fight Night Round 3, Call of Duty 3, F.E.A.R., The Ekder Scrolls IV Oblivion, Full Auto 2 Battlelines, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Madden NFL 07, Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire, NHL 2K7, NBA 2K7, Ridge Racer 7, Sonic the Hedgehog, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07, Untold Legends Dark Kingdom, Tony Hawk's Project 8, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas and maybe the most long awaited titles in years, Need for Speed: Carbon.
Sony officials also revealed some information about the PS3's online capabilities, which will grant players access to downloadable game demos or small titles. These demos and titles will be available for free or by paying with money from the electronic wallet each player has to set up. There were also some good news for movie fanatics, as the first 500,000 units will come with a Blu-Ray version of Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby starring Will Farrell.
The rumor that the HDMI cable will be sold separately was confirmed as Sony representatives announced the prices for the PS3 peripherals. The HDMI cable will cost around US$ 49.99, the PS2 memory card adapter will cost US$ 14.99,
SIXAXIS US$ -49.99 and the PS3 remote controller will retail for US$ 24.99.
