NEWSFLASH: This Is a Scary Pregnancy

With rumor going strong that a wedding ceremony is in the making for the number one couple of the moment, Eddie Murphy and Melanie Brown of the Spice Girls, and likely to take place some time next month, it now seems that things are more than meets the eye with the two lovebirds.

TMZ and the 'Daily Record' broke the story today, claiming that the singer is not only pregnant with the funnyman's child, but also four months along. Apparently, this is the reason for which there was so much talk about the nuptials recently.

A friend of the former Spice Girl is quoted by the 'Record' as saying: 'They [Mel and Eddie] seem delighted and Mel hasn't stopped grinning. The relationship is very strong. There is no ring on her finger yet but no one would be surprised if they got married without too much notice'.

On the other hand, she was also seen on a shopping spree and witnesses say that she couldn't stop talking about her pregnancy, about how happy and, at the same time, exhausted, she was because of it. Andy Behram, a spokesperson for Le Bra Lingerie Boutique (where Melanie spend $5,000 on lingerie for herself and $300 for Eddie), confirmed that she shopped there yesterday and talked to the salesgirl about her baby.

'Melanie Brown came in and was telling everybody that she was four months gone. Shae said she suspects twins because they run in Eddie's family'. As always in cases like this, Murphy's publicist refused to comment on his client's personal life.
