NETGEAR has released a new firmware version developed for its DGN1000v3 wireless router, namely build 1.0.0.14, which can be applied regardless of the operating system running on your computer.

If this package is installed, the problem with the password recovery GUI error will be resolved, the round up volume in Traffic Meter will work properly and display correct information, and the router reboot issue encountered because of the IPv6 passthrough function will be fixed.

When it comes to the installation procedure, the steps shouldn't pose too much of a hassle, as the producer tried to make them as easy as possible.

Specifically speaking, simply get and extract the downloadable archive, log into the router’s admin interface, and go to Maintenance → Router Upgrade and click on the “Browse” button.

Now, navigate and select the “DGN1000v3-V1.0.0.14_0.0.14.img” firmware file, click on the “Upload” button, and wait for the progress bar to complete.

At this point, the device starts transferring the update file and initiate the upgrade process, therefore make sure you don’t interfere with the router in any way. Doing so can result in an update failure that might cause various device malfunctions or, in a worst-case scenario, could even render it unusable.

That being said, download NETGEAR DGN1000v3 Router Firmware 1.0.0.14, take into account all aforementioned aspects, and upgrade your router to the latest firmware version.
