NEC has introduced its 30-inch MultiSync LCD3090WQXi wide-screen display that is especially targeted at users in the graphic design, photography, print production, and CAD/CAM industries. The new creation
has been unveiled during the 2008 Macworld Conference and Expo.
The new LCD display is built on NEC's MultiSync 90-Series technology. It is capable of reaching an amazing resolution of 2560 x 1600 (4 megapixels), which makes it the perfect tool, no matter we are talking about watching high-definition content or playing the latest games on the market. The wide-gamut and wide-screen display is designed for professionals, and its retail price tag confirms this.

"Whether in pre- or post-production photography, digital animation, CAD/CAM design, or even soft-copy clinical viewing in the medical field, the MultiSync LCD3090WQXi arms end-users with sophisticated features and advanced functionality in order to deliver optimal output performance."
The display includes the ColorComp technology that reduces the uniformity errors in the LCD crystals and automatically compensates for the differences in color/grayscale and luminance. The display features a 12-bit internal look-up table and HDCP connections supported through the DVI-D connector.

The display will start shipping through the retail channels in early February for an estimative price of $2200.
