NEC and Casio have teamed up to offer Android enthusiasts their latest masterpiece, which is called Medias LTE N-04D. The smartphone is expected to arrive in Japan next week via major carrier NTT Docomo.

Although there’s no word on the phone’s price, it is almost sure that this one won’t be available outside the country. Just like all Japanese handsets, NEC Casio Medias LTE N-04D features a waterproof body, as well as IrDA connectivity and one-seg wallet.

The phone will be compatible with Casio’s G-Shock via Bluetooth, and will run Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform.

Other highlights of the smartphone include 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 8.1-megapixel camera, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and Bluetooth Low Energy profile. The phone is only 11.3mm thin and weighs around 150g (battery included).
