NEC has been presenting several interesting mobile phones lately, including the concept phone Tag, and has apparently decided to prove that they can innovate by bringing a whole series of very interesting mobile phones as well as other gadgets.

Also known as the NEC6206, the N908 was presented at the ITU Telecom World 2006. The handheld is really tiny and the first thing that anyone will notice is its obvious lack of a keypad. By trying to keep the mobile slim and small, and not compromise on the size of the display either, NEC decided the N908 would be better off with a 2.2 inch QVGA 260k color touch screen, instead of a smaller display and a standard keypad.

Therefore, whether you need to initiate a call or load up the media player the phone features, this can only be done with the use of the touchscreen. N908 also has a built-in camera, which fortunately comes with its own shutter button. In fact, if you were to turn the mobile phone to the side, it would pretty much resemble a digital camera.

The handheld weighs about 84g and measures 83.4 x 53.2 x 12.8 mm, thus being as big as a Credit Card, and brings a few other features that NEC also managed to fit in this handheld, like a microSD card slot for memory expansion, Bluetooth, handwriting recognition, e-mail and scheduler. N908 will last up to approximately 150 min of talk time and will go without requiring a recharge for 110 to 150 hours while on standby mode.
