Yesterday brought an announcement from Ncsoft Europe, of City of Heroes "Good Versus Evil Combined Edition", a retail package combining the City of Heroes with its follow-up City of Villains.

Besides the two games, "Good Versus Evil Combined Edition", also includes the recent, massive expansion "Issue 7: Destiny Manifest" which introduced dynamic player-versus-player zones, as well as the villain Mayhem
Missions that allow players to inflict damage on Paragon, the heroes' city itself. In addition, the pack provides a wide range of special features, including items, special in-game prestige travel powers and new costume pieces for both heroes and villains. The special items will also be available to current City of Heroes and City of Villains players using a serial code that can be purchased from the PlayNC website beginning September 29th.

"With seven huge updates already launched, and an eighth on its way, both City of Heroes and City of Villains is bigger and better than ever, making now an excellent time to take a first peek into our extravagant world of super-powered mayhem," said Max Brown, Director of European Sales. "And best of all, gamers can now purchase both full games for the price of one, which is incredible value for money."

The "Good Versus Evil Combined Edition" is due on September 29th at a retail price of £14.99 / €24.99, and comes with 30-days of free play after which, players only need to pay £8.99 per month to have full access to both games.
