The development team at EA Sports announces that Denard Robinson, a quarterback playing for the University of Michigan, is the new cover star for NCAA Football 14.

The player was chosen after a long popular vote which involved 126 schools all over the United States and saw more than 5.7 million ballots cast virtually, according to GameInformer.

Denard Robinson is the third player from the University of Michigan, known as the Wolverines, to get the coveted cover spot.

The new game is designed to use an upgraded version of the Infinity Engine, which was introduced in Madden NFL 13, and will include increases in the realism level and more options for gamers.

The Ultimate Team mode has also been added to the title.

NCAA Football 14 will be launched on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 on July 9 of this year.
