NBC’s “Hannibal” premiered to rather lackluster ratings this month, but network bosses are still doing their best to show support to the victims and all those affected by the Boston Marathon tragedies.

Episode four of the first season will not air right now, NBC tells The Wrap in a statement.

Though not related in any way to the bomb attacks and yesterday’s manhunt for the bombers, producers and network executives thought it best to not air it.

“Series creator Brian Fuller made the call on pulling the episode. […] The fourth episode in the season, titled ‘Ceuf,’ depicts children murdering children,” The Wrap writes.

“It will be replaced by the fifth episode in the season lineup, ‘Coquiles,’ on Thursday, April 25 at 10 p.m.,” adds the same media outlet.

Because one episode will be skipped, season 1 finale will move up one week from the initial date, to June 20.
